1. What was your first job?

Working at Allie's Hallmark Store in Long Beach, CA. I swept the sidewalks and washed the windows.

 

2. What was your favorite food when you were a child?

My mom's ham and macaroni salad. 

3. What's your favorite food now?

My mom's ham and macaroni salad. 

4. What do you dislike most about your current job?

I think it's really hard to get people to think differently about things; to be disruptive and get them to do things a new way, they want to do things the way they know.

5. What's your favorite movie?

Racing with the Moon. Big Fish. Silver Linings Playbook.

6. If you could learn any skill, what would you learn?

I wish I could Hip Hop dance really well.

7. Favorite place you've been in the world?

I really like New York City. I like Ireland, but maybe not as much as New York. 

8. How would you spend one million dollars?

I'd probably open up a school. Somewhere for people of all ages to learn and try new things.

9. Dogs or Cats?

Dogs.

10. What's one book you would recommend and why?

Probably anything by John McPhee. "The Headmaster" is really good. I think he has a really great way of writing about one subject really in depth.

11. What's your favorite season?

Spring...wait, no...Fall.

12. What's your favorite town or city?

I like Denver a lot, and Breckenridge.

13. As a kid what did you want to be when you grew up?

First I wanted to be an Architect, then I wanted to be a lawyer.

14. If you changed careers what would you do?

I'd really like to write a book and then have people ask me to come talk about my awesome book.

15. Did you ever move when you were growing up?

No.

16. What would your tombstone say?

I don't think it'll say anything. I'd like it to say, "Teacher. Learner."

17. What song would you want to play when you walk into a room?

Thriller? I like so many songs, it's hard to pick one. Don't Cry for me Argentina? I don't really know the name of a lot of songs, if I heard it I might be like...oh yeah, that's great. Couldn't tell you the name.

18. What would you title a book about your life?

"He Pissed Everyone Off."

19. If you opened a restaurant what kind of cuisine would you serve?

Steak. Different steaks made in different ways. "Steak Steak Steak".

20. What's the best advice you've ever received?

"Have confidence in yourself. Don't be afraid to challenge people"
